Harry Konstantinou is an industrial designer, engineer and co-founder of IDEA34, an independent industrial design studio based in Agrinio, Greece.

His background combines Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Structural Engineering, and Industrial Design.

His approach to design begins with observation. Nature, movement, human behaviour, memory and ordinary experiences become starting points for objects.

Rather than reproducing what he observes, Konstantinou works with what remains in memory: a movement, a feeling, a structure or a presence. Through abstraction, engineering, prototyping and material experimentation, these impressions are transformed into furniture, lighting and objects.

At IDEA34, he develops work that moves between artistic exploration and industrial production, seeking objects with clarity, presence and longevity rather than novelty for its own sake.
