Furniture, lighting and objects, designed and made in Greece. Drawn from nature, reduced to their essential form.
The perfect, essential form of a thing — the shape it holds before it is ever made. We spend years looking for it. Then we build it.
We don’t design what we see.
We observe.
Everything begins with attention. A movement, a memory, a behaviour, something ordinary that for a moment becomes impossible to ignore.
We remember.
We let the image fade but keep the feeling close. What matters is not the accuracy of the memory, but the way it lives within us.
We transform.
Not to reproduce the source, not to imitate it, not to explain it. To give a feeling another form.
We leave space.
Part of the story stays unfinished, so an object has room for another memory, another association, another reading.
The Collection

A table lamp that moves like the animal it is named for: a soft dome of light, tentacles of shadow. Hand-finished in the studio, in a numbered edition.

Each light is individually produced in the studio — numbered on the piece and signed by hand. Editions are limited; when one closes, it is not repeated.

The furniture collection is not sold online. Selected designs are available for licensing to manufacturers who share the studio’s standards — so each piece reaches more rooms than one workshop ever could.

We design by observation. A seed pod, a wave, a jellyfish — nature has already solved form. Our work is to listen, and to reduce.
IDEA34 is an industrial design studio working from Agrinio, Greece — among the olive groves of Aetolia. Every object is developed slowly, prototyped by hand, and made to remain in use for decades.
Beyond licensing, the studio also develops new designs with manufacturers, lighting companies and hospitality projects — from first sketch to production.
